CAU Restaurant (Gaucho Group) to open in Tunbridge Wells
Written on 30 Oct 2013

It's pretty much confirmed that with the rapid and odd departure of BARcode (covered here), the 2 floors at 2,000 square feet are to be opening as a CAU Restaurant (see here http://www.caurestaurants.com). It stands for "Carne Argentina Unica" for the uninitiated (I was, until I Googled it, but I do love a bit of steak).
I for one am very excited to see a rather tasty looking burger showcased on their site, and clocking in at under £10 it's likely to hit the sweet spot for a lot of locals. A bit of competition, albeit with a walk in between, for Tunbridge Wells Bar & Grill?
Thanks to anke for tracking down the gossip and adding some sort of credibility to the rumours.
LOOKS like the old Barcode is going to be a CAU Restaurant (owned by Gaucho Grill). Thanks @JessTadmor. Details here http://t.co/pxgWmISzEN
